I am obsessed with how songwriting can help people. It can relieve feelings of pain, expand joy, connect people, and so much more. Music is a powerful force and can provide some serious healing and change.
Imagine what life would be like if you were able to get clear on your vision as a songwriter. Set goals, plans, systems, and ideas into motion. What if you had a list of resources, tools, and exercises to inspire your creations?
The Songwriter’s Process includes all of these elements. It is based on the decades of music study and instruction I have accumulated as well as some personal touches through my experience in yoga teacher training, therapy, and self-help books.
It has also been created with busy schedules in mind. I know people are juggling a lot of responsibilities, especially right now. They all add up to not having enough time to focus on ourselves.
The problem is, if we are unable to focus on ourselves then we are unable to give what we want to those responsibilities.
Give back to yourself through music — remember that idea of helping people through music?
I modeled the course to be “drip-fed”. What that means is once a week a module will be released so you have a whole week to complete the module. Most lessons or exercises are less than 20 minutes long and you can go at your own pace.
This means you can wake up 30 minutes earlier in the morning to complete it or on a lunch break from work.
I get it. Your time is precious and I value it. I want you to put more of yourself into it. You deserve to focus on yourself — and to reap the benefits of the healing power of music.
I welcome you to start this journey and give back to yourself with your own creativity.
Next week, I am so excited to offer a 5-day songwriting challenge!
This free challenge will leave you feeling motivated and inspired to nurture your creative side. Over these 5 days, we will go over goals, strengths, do exercises, and fill in the gaps. I am so excited to offer this experience and hope you join me.
Mini-lessons each day will touch on touch on topics like purpose, form, lyrics, melody, and goals. This challenge is action-based! So be prepared to show up and do some work!
Let’s jump-start your creativity. We start this Monday, February 8th. Join us!
